The 40oz. Freaks, were founded in 2004 by a group of mis-led high school students in Caifornia. Over the years the 40oz. Freaks have had multiple members, all revolving around the 2 main personalities being The Highest Child, and Injustice. Whether you know them for Bottles, The Dopeman, My Spaceship, or Stay Away, or you’ve seen them @ performances with E-40, Ice Cube, Rakim, Afroman, or Andre Nickatina, the 40oz. Freaks are undoubtedly the most talented and intriguing group of it’s kind. Years of trial-and-error, learning their craft, and performing for shitty artist-robbing promoters had led to the 40oz. Freaks becoming a recognizable name in Central Cali. Their first release, “To The Kids”, was independently released in 2007, and became the first Hip-hop group from their town to have international record sales.

With ThC’s charismatic beats and intellegent lyrics, and Injustice with his clever, and captivating songwriting skills, the two formed a chemistry unlike any others. Slowly the 2 evolved, with the release of their 2nd album, “Anomaly” in 2008. This established the freaks as a serious force to reckon with on the Central Cali Hop-hop scene.  They continued to do shows and working on the next album without wasting any time. They released a line of 40oz. Freaks clothing, which is available here, and hit the world once again in 2009 with “The Freakuency” (All albums available on iTunes). At this time, the 40oz. freaks had became the most sucessful rap-group from it’s area. By now, member disputes, promoter controversy, and venue bias has led to multiple rumors that had tarnished the 40oz. Freaks reputation, preventing them from doing shows for a short period of time. However, an un-phased and even more motivated 40oz. Freaks hit the lab once again, only this time – relocated to Hollywood, CA.  After years of pioneering and symbolizing hip-hop on the Central Coast of Cali, the 40oz. Freaks had finally move onto new territory.  With a sick fixation and unsatiable taste for world-wide domination, the 40oz. team is now on a new binge, with a potent upcoming release that’s guarantee to have even the heavyweights seein’ double. The 40oz. Freaks are independent, motivated, and extremeley passionate artists who effortlessly stand out from the norm.
